How It All Began

I've been asked many times, "how did you start crafting with shells"? Let me tell you the shortened version.

I had been a Nail Tech for 32 years and owned my own nail studio. When Covid hit, nail salons were considered a non-essential business (most women find that hard to believe) which meant I had to close the studio until the restriction was lifted. Not having anything else to do during "shut down", I looked at my collection of shells and decided to make a wreath. I name my creations and I named this wreath "Pandemic".

I posted it on a shell site to see what others thought of it, with no intention of selling. Within minutes I had an offer from a gal who wanted to purchase it for her home! And voila, She Shell Shed was born and from then on, I just keep shelling and creating -- I'm addicted!
